JSS College of Pharmacy Calls For Student Researchers for AyurPharmacon 2.0

JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru has invited undergraduate and postgraduate students and researchers to participate in AyurPharmacon 2.0 on the theme “Where Tradition Meets Innovation”. The announcement suggests an opportunity to explore a topic that connects traditional knowledge with contemporary pharmaceutical research.

The theme “Where Tradition Meets Innovation” places AyurPharmacon 2.0 within the framework of a larger dialogue on the relationship between traditional medicinal knowledge and modern pharmaceutical science.

Ayurveda has been using plant originated substances and other preparations in health care for a long time. Modern pharmaceutical research provides tools to investigate their chemical composition, quality, safety, biological activity and possible therapeutic uses.

Discussion of these topics can provide an opportunity for students and researchers to examine the possible scientific methodology to study traditional knowledge.

The title of the event indicates an interest in this intersection but we need confirmation from the organisers about the scientific objectives and planned activities.

An opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students

The call is addressed especially to undergraduate and postgraduate students and researchers.

Such academic events can provide a forum for students to explore new questions, share ideas and examine research interests. Depending on the confirmed program, participants may also be able to present their work or interact with others working in related fields.
