Ayush Anudan Portal: Connecting Institutions, Researchers and Students with Ayush Resources

The Ministry of Ayush is strengthening access to information about its schemes, research and institutional achievements through the Ayush Anudan Portal. Developed under the Ayush Grid initiative, the portal brings together information on the Ministry’s Central Sector Schemes, including the Ayurswasthya Yojana and Ayurgyan Scheme.

In a letter dated 25 August 2026, the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) directed all Ayurveda colleges to share information about the portal and its dashboards with faculty members, researchers, students and other stakeholders.

A Central Platform for Ayush Schemes

The Ayush Anudan Portal is designed to support transparent, efficient and digital implementation, monitoring and dissemination of information about the Ministry’s schemes.

It serves as a centralized source of information on Grant-in-Aid schemes and the achievements of supported institutions. Researchers, academicians, healthcare professionals, students and the public can use the platform to learn about supported projects and their outcomes.

The initiative aims to promote transparency, knowledge sharing, collaboration and wider visibility of work funded by the Ministry of Ayush.

Centre of Excellence Dashboard

The Centre of Excellence (CoE) Dashboard highlights outputs supported under the Ministry’s schemes, including publications, research facilities and upgraded Ayush infrastructure.

CoE institutions supported under the Ayurswasthya Yojana have established advanced clinical and research facilities with financial assistance from the Ministry. The dashboard provides a way for stakeholders to explore these facilities and find institutional contact information.

Importantly, research facilities developed under the CoE component are available for use by Ayush professionals, researchers, faculty members and scholars, subject to the guidelines of the respective grantee institutions. Anyone interested in using a facility should consult the institution’s requirements before making arrangements.

Research & Innovation Dashboard

The Research & Innovation (R&I) Dashboard, also integrated into the portal, showcases research-related outputs supported under the schemes.

Together, the dashboards help stakeholders discover publications, innovations, research facilities and other project achievements. Regular visits can help students and professionals stay informed about ongoing projects and available resources across the Ayush sector.

Supporting Economically Weaker Sections

The Ministry’s circular also highlights an important provision for inclusive access.

Under the Ayurswasthya Yojana’s CoE provisions, at least 25% of the facilities or services created under the scheme must be made available to beneficiaries belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), either free of cost or at concessional rates, in accordance with the institution’s policy.

This provision supports access to scheme-funded facilities and services for economically disadvantaged beneficiaries. Details of the applicable services and institutional policies should be checked with the concerned institution.

What Institutions Should Do

NCISM has asked Ayurveda colleges to circulate information about these platforms among their faculty, researchers, students and other stakeholders.

The Ministry’s accompanying circular also calls for wider dissemination through colleges, universities, hospitals and research institutions. Institutions are requested to display the information on their official websites, share it through official communication channels and add the portal links under “Other Important Links.”

Explore the Official Platforms

By making scheme information and funded project outcomes easier to find, these platforms can support a better-informed and more connected Ayush community. Active participation by institutions will be essential to improving awareness and encouraging use of the available resources.
