Cheruthuruthy, Kerala: The National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma (NARIP), Cheruthuruthy, under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, has invited applications for filling up of seven vacant seats of its Panchakarma Technician Course (PTC) for the academic session 2026-2027.
As per the notification dated 23 October 2026, candidates who have passed Class XII or equivalent examination and meet the prescribed age requirement are eligible to apply. The annual course fee is Rs 30,000 and the last date for receipt of applications by the institute is November 2, 2026.
What is the Panchakarma Technician Course?
Panchakarma is a major therapeutic dimension of Ayurveda. Training in this area is relevant for effective clinical delivery of Panchakarma procedures in appropriate clinical settings.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed the Intermediate/Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) i.e. 12 years of schooling. Candidates must be 18 years of age or over by the date of the final assessment at the end of the training program.
The notification does not mention any maximum age limit in the said eligibility criteria.
Tuition and Payment Schedule
The annual fee for Panchakarma Technician Course is Rs.30,000/- per student.
The fee is payable in three instalments as follows: The applicants are also required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 500 in the form of Demand Draft along with the course fee. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma” payable at Shoranur, Kerala.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be based on merit determined by the marks obtained in Class XII, subject to the prescribed eligibility criteria, applicable reservation rules and CCRAS admission guidelines.
Following scrutiny and selection, the merit list will be uploaded to the official CCRAS website and displayed on the institute’s notice board.
